As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key part in keeping freight moving through the depot safely and efficiently. Working as part of a team, you will load, unload, and sort palletised goods while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
The Role
Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
Scan and sort palletised freight by destination
Ensure freight is handled with care to avoid damage
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Work closely with the transport team to meet dispatch times
Follow all health and safety procedures
The Person
Previous warehouse or freight experience preferred
Forklift licence beneficial but not essential (training can be provided)
Good attention to detail
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Reliable team player with a strong work ethic
Desirable (but not essential)
Knowledge of UK geography and transport planning
Previous use of logistics or routing software
