Pallet Network Solutions is a fast-growing freight and pallet distribution company, operating as part of a national logistics network. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an organised and proactive Transport Coordinator to help keep our daily operations running smoothly. You will play a key part in coordinating collections and deliveries, supporting drivers, and ensuring freight moves through our depot efficiently and on time. This is a fast-paced role that requires great attention to detail and clear communication.
The Role
Plan and coordinate daily delivery and collection routes
Liaise with drivers to ensure smooth and timely operations
Monitor service performance and resolve delivery issues quickly
Communicate with customers regarding collections, deliveries, and queries
Use internal and network systems to manage consignments and tracking
Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure freight is loaded and dispatched correctly
Maintain accurate records and update systems in real time
The Person
Previous experience in transport, logistics, or freight operations preferred
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Confident communicator, both over the phone and via email
Calm under pressure with a problem-solving mindset
Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience working within a freight company
Knowledge of UK geography and transport planning
Previous use of logistics or routing software
